Following the pandemic, we became aware through our sister company DDL Care Services people have been struggling to cope with the effects of COVID, often reluctant to leave home due to Government guidance which resulted in feelings of social isolation, this meant many people lost their self-confidence, which impacted on their mobility.
Our aim is to create a unique community-based resource offering companionship and support for older adults. The DDL Care Hub will improve our client’s daily living skills and self-confidence through activities, trying out new ideas such as using IT equipment, explore new interests, rekindle old interests/hobbies whilst meeting new people and reminiscing or sharing their life story’s.
